A Community of Service

What is Rotary?

Rotary International is an association of Rotary clubs worldwide. It’s made up of more than 33,000 Rotary clubs in over 200 countries and geographical areas. The members of these autonomous clubs are called Rotarians, and they form a global network of 1.2 million business and professional leaders, all volunteering their time and talents to serve their communities and the world. Individual Rotary clubs, in turn, belong to the global association called Rotary International.  Find out more about Rotary’s history and structure.

You are invited to check out our club.   We meet on Thursday mornings at the New Vestavia HILLS City Hall located at 1032 Montgomery Highway, Vestavia Hills, Alabama 35216.  Meetings are most Thursdays (check the calendar link above) starting with breakfast at 6:45AM, meeting begins at 7AM and we adjourn at 7:45AM.

The men and woman of Vestavia Hills Sunrise Rotary make a difference in the lives in our community by selfless service, AND we have fun while doing it.  The weekly meetings provide a chance for the members to get to know each other better.  Speakers for the meetings range from local non-profit directors, city planners, CEOs, authors and US Senators .  Our service projects of late have focused on helping our high school youth and beautifying our town.  In just two short years, Vestavia Hills Sunrise Rotary has grown to over thirty active members.

Join us Thursday mornings, breakfast is waiting on you.

See you at the sunrise.
